Meet our speakers
Responsible for branch support and training for 130 UKPS branches across 5 regions. Over 40 years’ experience in the heating industry.
Trevor is a professionally qualified Incorporated Engineer, Gas Safe registered, gas technical consultancy manager with more than forty years’ experience in the gas industry of which the last thirty years have been spent working for CORGI. He provides consultancy services to clients who consist mainly of residential social landlords, these services consist primarily of providing training, quality control auditing, management systems audits, procedure documentation and technical support. He also investigates fatal and non-fatal carbon monoxide incidents caused by gas appliances and faulty workmanship, appearing in Court where necessary, and was part of the gas investigation team at Grenfell Tower following the fire in 2017.
He developed and introduced the first VRQ qualifications in gas safety management, these qualifications have since been expanded and adapted into a suite of qualifications across gas, electricity and compliance to serve customer requirements. He has also worked overseas for holiday tour operators inspecting fossil fuel burning appliances which has given him an insight into European and other standards in addition to his broad knowledge of the Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations, British Standards and other normative documents.
Joe is a highly skilled professional specialising in gas, plumbing, heating, and renewables. With over 20 years of experience, Joe has excelled in roles such as project manager, leader, coach, engineer, investigator, and compliance specialist.
Currently, Joe is the Technical Safety Manager & Auditor Community Lead at CORGI Technical Services, where he oversees incident investigations, internal compliance, and safety audits for large businesses. His expertise includes conducting DSEAR assessments and evaluating complex gas installations.
Joe began his career as an apprentice and has since held various positions in organisations like Mears Group Plc and T R Enterprises. His extensive qualifications include certifications in gas-related incident investigation, DSEAR, and multiple gas safety credentials. He is also pursuing a Level 4 Diploma in Asset and Building Management Compliance.
Southern Regional Spares Manager for Sparesbase. for 130 UKPS branches across 5 regions. Over 25 years’ experience in the heating industry.
Bryan, was for the last 22 years a partner in the TFC Group of companies which was started 50 years ago to supply quality heating and electrical controls to the merchant and wholesale industry.
The company was taken over this year by Newbury Investments part of a global industry leader.
CORGI Controls has been a very important part of the business for over 14 years and remains an essential part of the group.
Bryan originally from the North West moved South 7 years ago to be closer to the operation based in Tonbridge, Kent.
Prior to heating controls Bryan held Sales & Marketing positions within the kitchen & bathroom sector.
Adam manages the website and has an extensive 20 year experience within E-Commerce. He holds multiple Digital Marketing Qualifications and has a keen interest in customer focussed usability, acquisition and retention.
Graham has been in the motor industry since leaving school and attended Chesterfield College to complete a Diploma in Motor Engineering and Transport Management. His experience includes working for a franchise dealer group for 13 years as Franchise Manager and owning and managing a Contract Hire and Leasing Broker for 20 years. Graham has a wealth of experience in Motor Vehicle Finance and will be sharing information about the Salary Sacrifice Scheme.

From health and safety to quantity surveying and now back again in the compliance space – via a detour to the murky world of finance – learning has always been on his mind. When your experience covers manually inspecting a billion-pound bank transfer end to end but also designing animated gifs covering fire safety, there is always a breadth of experience and knowledge to bring to a situation.

Currently, they are the founders of Ontik, a payment solution designed to enhance cash flow for companies in the construction industry. Their innovative digital payment link proposition has already aided numerous building material merchants by improving cash flow, reducing late payments, and cutting administrative costs. Most recently, they have extended their services to subcontractors and installers with CORGI Pay, which aims to streamline payment collection from customers.
